Crypto SEO Agency

Technical SEO, content strategy, editorial link building, programmatic SEO and international SEO for crypto and fintech brands. Built by the team that ran the organic engine at a top-5 US crypto exchange, and engineered for AI answers at the same time.

The whole stack, said plainly

Most agencies selling AI search quietly assume somebody else is still running the SEO underneath it. We run both, because they are one architecture and splitting them across two vendors is how the handoffs get dropped.

Technical SEO. Crawl, render, index, Core Web Vitals, and a diagnosis of what crawlers actually fetch rather than what the page shows a browser. In crypto that usually starts with a JavaScript app that returns an empty shell to anything without a browser, and a set of jurisdiction redirects that quietly bounce a crawler out of your best market.

Content strategy. The query universe mapped and clustered by entity and intent, then turned into briefs your team can execute against compliance review rather than around it.

Editorial link building. Placements earned on original data, plus the aggregators, data listings and reference sites that carry more weight in this category than the trade press does. Editorial only. No farms, no PBNs, no ghostwritten community accounts.

Programmatic SEO. One template system covering thousands of queries at once, which is the only way to hold a category with as many assets, pairs, fees and markets as this one has.

International SEO. Hreflang, localization and market-specific entity work, built in from the start rather than retrofitted across thousands of live pages later.

Crypto SEO is not general SEO with different nouns

Your facts rot without anyone touching the page. A listing, a delisting, a fee schedule change, a staking rate move or a governance vote falsifies live pages overnight. The page did not change. The world did. That is a maintenance architecture problem, and pages built as one-off assets cannot survive it.

Half your pages are legal documents wearing marketing clothes. The same product page cannot ship to every market, so market targeting is a compliance control as well as a duplicate content fix. Get it wrong and you are not fighting a canonical tag, you are ranking an unavailable product in a jurisdiction that regulates it.

The branded SERP is adversarial. Search your own name and you land among "is [exchange] a scam" threads, scam-check aggregators and a competitor comparison page written to outrank you. In most industries brand search is a formality. Here it is the fight.

Proof: an SEO-driven engine at a top-5 US crypto exchange

Our team built the organic channel there and ran it as the SEO channel owner. Programmatic architecture, entity engineering, technical foundation and expansion across 10+ international markets.

Hundreds of pages became hundreds of thousands, roughly 300x the footprint we started with, and incremental signups grew roughly tenfold year over year. The client stays anonymous, which is why the figures here are relative and rounded rather than absolute.

It is worth being precise about what that proves. It is an SEO track record, at exchange scale, in this exact category. It is the discipline we are now pointing at AI answers, and we are not going to dress it up as a GEO case study it is not.

We build engines, not campaigns

A campaign spends a budget and stops. An engine keeps producing after the invoice, and the difference is whether the parts feed each other. That is the whole reason we run the stack as one system rather than five line items.

The loop runs like this. A clean technical foundation means pages actually get crawled and rendered. Programmatic templates turn that into coverage across thousands of queries instead of fifty. Coverage earns links and mentions, because there is finally something worth citing. Authority makes the next batch of pages rank faster than the last. Faster ranking pages are the pages engines retrieve, which is where the citations come from. And every one of those citations is a signal back into the top of the loop.

Each turn costs less than the one before it. The first hundred pages are expensive and slow. The thousandth is neither, because the template, the entity graph and the authority are already paid for. That compounding is what produced roughly 300x the page footprint and a tenfold lift in incremental signups at the exchange, and it is why we will not sell a three month engagement: three months buys the expensive part of the curve and none of the payoff.

Then the layer most SEO agencies are not running

The same pages that rank are the pages engines retrieve, so we engineer both in one pass: answer-first structure, self-contained passages, schema and entity architecture, measured against a fixed prompt set of the questions your buyers actually put to an assistant. That is the AI Visibility & GEO work, and it costs far less bolted onto an SEO program than bought as a second retainer six months later.

We are careful about what that layer promises. Our own study of 45 crypto and fintech companies found no measurable relationship between technical readiness and how often engines cite a brand's own site, with brand size dominating everything. Readiness removes the reasons you cannot be cited. Authority and third-party presence get you into the conversation. Anyone selling you a readiness score as a citation guarantee has not run the numbers.

Where we stop

We deliver strategy, architecture, templates and briefs. We do not write the content, which keeps your voice and your compliance review inside your business and keeps us on the part that needs a specialist.

Straight answers.

Do we need a crypto SEO agency, or will a generalist do?

A generalist can do the mechanics. What a generalist cannot do is turn search into reach for a product that is regulated market by market, changes on a schedule nobody controls, and gets fought over on its own branded results. Our job is to put your exchange, wallet or protocol in front of the people already searching for what it does, in every market where it is legal to sell it. We built and ran the organic engine at a top-5 US exchange, so that plan is rehearsed rather than theoretical.

How is crypto SEO actually different from regular SEO?

Three ways that change the work rather than the vocabulary. Your product is not legal in every market you rank in, so hreflang and market targeting carry regulatory weight instead of merely splitting duplicate content. Your facts rot on a schedule nobody controls: listings, delistings, fee changes, staking rates and governance votes silently falsify pages that were accurate the day they shipped. And compliance sits between the brief and the publish button, which is why content plans built on a two day turnaround never ship here. Plan for all three up front or you rebuild later.

Do you do link building?

Yes, editorial link building and digital PR, and nothing that comes from a network. Bought links are built to look like coverage to a crawler, and in a category where trust is the product, getting caught costs more than any placement was worth. It is also the lever our own research supports best: third-party presence is what predicts whether a brand shows up in AI answers at all, which is the strongest relationship we have been able to measure.

Can you get us ranking for "best crypto exchange"?

It is the wrong thing to buy first, and any agency that leads with it is selling the pitch rather than the plan. Head terms in this category are contested by brands with a decade of authority and a budget you do not have yet, and they convert worse than the long tail underneath them. The queries that print revenue look like "best crypto exchange for beginners in Canada", "is [exchange] licensed in Singapore" and "[exchange] vs [exchange] fees". Win a few thousand of those and the head term becomes reachable. Start at the head term and you spend a year losing quietly.

Is SEO still worth doing if AI answers the question?

It is the prerequisite, which is the part the AI search pitch keeps skipping. Engines assemble answers out of pages they can retrieve, and the pages they retrieve are overwhelmingly ones that already rank, get linked and get mentioned. Cutting SEO to fund GEO is cutting the supply line to fund the front. We run them as one system for exactly that reason.

Do you write the content?

No, and we would rather say so before you ask. We deliver strategy, architecture, templates and detailed briefs; your team or your writers execute them. In crypto and fintech that also keeps compliance review inside your business, where it legally belongs, and it keeps your legal team from reviewing an agency draft that was never going to survive them.
