// Answerability Score

How quotable is your page to an AI?

Paste a page URL. We score it 0–100 on how easily an answer engine can lift a clean, standalone quote from it — and show you the exact sentences dragging the score down.

The rubric, in the open

No black box. The score starts at 100 and deducts against six signals that decide whether a sentence survives being pulled out of your page and dropped into an AI answer:

  • Standalone sentences — does a sentence resolve without the one before it, or does it open with “it / this / they”?
  • Sentence & paragraph length — long sentences don't get quoted; walls of text don't get chunked cleanly.
  • Dated claims — figures without a date are riskier for an engine to cite.
  • Heading → answer distance — retrieval rewards a heading followed immediately by its answer.
  • Structure — lists and tables for content that's actually a list.

Disagree with a deduction? Good — that argument is the whole point. Nothing about your page is stored against it.
